Frequently Asked Questions

What is a stage plot?
A stage plot is a visual diagram showing instrument positions, monitor locations, and technical requirements for a live performance. It is used by FOH engineers, monitor engineers, and production managers to prepare for a show before load-in.
How do I make a stage plot?
Drag instruments onto the stage in load·in. The input list generates automatically with K·S·H sorting. Export to PDF, PNG, or native console files when you're done.
What consoles does load·in export to?
Current workflows include X32/M32/X-Air, WING, Yamaha CL/QL and DM3, scoped RIVAGE PM generation, DiGiCo SD7–SD12, Allen & Heath SQ and dLive, and Avid VENUE S6L. The in-app preview states the exact format, verified fields, limits, and required validation.
Is load·in free?
Free includes up to 3 saved plots, all stage icons, watermarked PDF/PNG, and supported X32/M32 scene export. Pro is a $99 one-time purchase with no subscription or recurring charge and adds unlimited plots, clean documents, additional supported console workflows, DAW templates, and Pro export tools.
Does it work offline?
You can build and edit your plot, and open your saved documents, after the PWA has loaded. Account, payment, sharing, and all console-file import and export need a connection on every platform, including the iPhone and iPad app. Prepare critical files before arriving at the venue.
What is K·S·H sorting?
K·S·H means Kick, Snare, Hi-hat. load·in uses a practical, editable default order that begins there and groups related inputs. It is not a universal rule; rename or reorder any channel for your workflow.
Can I share my stage plot with a QR code?
PDF and PNG exports can include a QR handoff when the project is small enough to fit. Keep a .show file for the complete editable project and use password protection when it contains sensitive information.
Why should I switch to load·in?
load·in combines mobile-friendly stage planning, automatic input and monitor documentation, supported console workflows, DAW templates, RF tools, and portable .show projects. Each export describes its verified scope instead of implying that every desk carries every field.
