What travels, per console

What works and what to verify on the desk

Allen & Heath SQ. Channel names, colors, phantom, HPF/Gate/EQ/Comp toggles travel on cross-console translation. On same-console reorder, full per-channel settings preserve. Insert slot assignments may need to be re-enabled on the desk after reorder; rack plugin state stays in the rack itself — verify on the desk.

Avid VENUE S6L. Channel names, colors, phantom, HPF/EQ/Gate/Comp toggles travel on cross-console translation. Same-console reorder preserves the full strip. Insert routing may need to be re-enabled on the desk after reorder; rack plugin state stays in the rack itself — verify on the desk.

Behringer X32 / Wing and Midas M32. The most portable format supported — every parameter travels (EQ curves, dynamics, routing, sends) on same-console reorder, and channel names, colors, and processing toggles translate across consoles cleanly.

DiGiCo SD-series. On same-console reorder, your full channel state travels — EQ curves, dynamics, aux send levels, processing toggles, channel names and colors. Cross-console translation preserves names, colors, and HPF/EQ/Gate/Comp toggles; EQ curves and send levels do not translate cross-console, so verify those on the destination desk. DiGiCo does not auto-compensate routing delay — if you've set delay on a bus, verify timing on the desk after reorder. Direct out assignments stay with the physical slot on reorder — reassign direct outs to match the new channel order.

Yamaha CL/QL. Channel names, colors, icons, HPF/EQ/Gate/Comp toggles, phantom, fader, and stereo-link pairing travel on cross-console translation. Same-console reorder preserves the full strip.

Supported workflow means load·in can import channel data from an existing console file and export a supported console file or archive from the edited plot.

Exports include channel names, numbers, colors, and wireless frequency context where the format supports them.
