Build a corporate AV input list
A corporate show has its own channel shape — lavs, handhelds, a podium mic, confidence monitors, playback — not a band's. load·in builds that input list the same way it builds a touring one, then exports a clean document for the AV team.
Steps
- Start a new show. Type the channel list directly, or import a rider or spreadsheet the client or AV vendor sent.
- Name each channel by role. Lav 1 (CEO), Lav 2 (Panelist), Handheld 1 (Q&A), Podium, Playback L/R — whatever the event needs.
- Arrange the stage plot. Place the podium, panel seating, and any presentation screens so the AV team sees the real layout.
- Export a clean document. PDF/PNG input list for the AV vendor, or a CSV for whoever's building the patch.
Corporate shows often rotate speakers and mic types between sessions — duplicate the show and adjust rather than rebuilding it each time.
The same plot and input list export as a clean PDF for the client and a native desk file for whoever's mixing, so nothing gets re-keyed between the proposal and the show.
