STAGE PLOT → INPUT LIST → CONSOLE FILE

load·in: Build the Stage Plot Once. Load It Onto the Console.

load·in turns instrument placement into a channel list, then writes a native file your desk actually reads — so the names on your scribble strips came from your plot, not a second pass of typing at 9am load-in.

Edit your plot and open your saved shows offline once you've loaded it. No sign-in required to try it.

File safety policy

Console files are handled conservatively. Supported same-console imports and exports start from the imported source and patch only the fields identified in the export preview. Unedited source data is preserved by the tested workflow, and unrecognized structures are refused. Cross-desk generation starts from a supported target template and does not imply full-setting translation. Always verify the result in the current official editor or on the target desk before show use.

Preamp gain is never part of that translation, on any workflow. It always stays exactly as the engineer set it at the desk — cross-desk or on your own file re-exported into itself. Phantom power (48V) is written only when you switch it on or off yourself in the app, on desks where that's proven; a translation never moves it on its own. A shared or split preamp means a wrong gain becomes someone else's input, and phantom sent to the wrong place can damage a mic or DI — so gain stays hands-off entirely, and 48V only ever moves when you ask it to.

Ten Console Workflows

Every workflow ships with its own export preview — the exact list of fields it writes, before you write anything to a card. Scope is not identical across desks. Check the preview for the desk in front of you.

Free: X32/M32 native console files. Every other supported native console workflow is included with Pro. DiGiCo, S6L, and SQ don't have a dedicated page yet — their scope lives on the console support page until they do.

load·in is independent interoperability software; all console names and trademarks are property of their respective owners — see our Trademark Notice.

Real Load-In Situations

Not a workflow diagram. The four things that keep happening before doors.

The handoff. Another engineer's show file lands in your inbox an hour before doors, for a desk they never touched. Import it, review what carried across for that desk, and rebuild the rest — not by retyping 48 channels from a printout.
The input that wasn't on the list. The band shows up with one more input than the advance said — a second vocal mic, a keyboard rig nobody mentioned. Add it to the stage plot and it drops into the input list where it belongs, without retyping every channel underneath it.
The church. Different volunteers every week, a different instrument list every week, and the desk has to be right before the service starts. Hand the volunteer a plot and a list instead of a console with no notes on it.
The changeover. Twenty minutes between acts, a different desk on the next stage, and a photo of a napkin where the input list should be. Build the plot once and export what that stage's desk actually reads.

What Else Is in the Box

RF coordination with regional regulatory profiles — FCC, ISED, ETSI, Ofcom, BNetzA, MIC, ACMA, ANATEL, KCC, and an International band set for touring.
DAW template export — Reaper (.rpp), Ableton Live (.als), Adobe Audition (.sesx), Cubase/Nuendo (.xml), Ardour/Mixbus (.ardour).
Paperwork in eleven languages. Console files stay in English, by design.
Offline editing for your plot and saved shows, once you've loaded the app.
2D and 3D stage view.
Tech-rider import and generation — drop in a tech-rider PDF and load·in reads the input list and plots the stage, or build a rider from the plot instead. Text-layer PDFs only: a scanned page has no text to read, and load·in tells you that rather than guessing.
Read-only share links — send the plot to a band or a venue without making them install anything. The link previews properly when you paste it into a chat.

One Project, Three Surfaces

IPHONE

Walk the room and place inputs as you find them — before the drummer's finished loading in.

IPAD

Lay out the full stage with your hands: drag risers, wedges, and mic stands until the plot matches the rider.

DESKTOP

Sit down for the long advance: build the channel list, generate console files, and send the paperwork.

The portable .show project works across the iOS app and the web app. Account-backed features require the applicable purchasing or licensed account.

Questions Before You Use It on a Show

What does load·in do? Build stage plots and input lists, import supported console files, create scoped console exports and DAW templates, coordinate RF, and generate technical paperwork.
Does it translate every console setting? No. Coverage differs by console and firmware. Each export preview states what is written, preserved, or unsupported. Verify every console file in the current official editor or on the target desk before show use.
Can it work offline? After you've opened the web app once with a connection, you can build your plot, edit it, and open your saved shows offline. Purchases, accounts, sharing, and all console-file import and export require a connection, on every platform including the iPhone and iPad app.
What does it cost? Free includes up to 3 saved plots (enter your email in the app to unlock unlimited plots), watermarked PDF and PNG exports, CSV export, and native X32/M32 console files. Individual Pro is $99 one-time with no recurring charge.

Who Built It

load·in is built by a working touring FOH engineer — someone who's done the 6am call after a 400-mile drive. Support is a person, not a ticket queue: email goforshowio@gmail.com and it reaches someone who has stood at the console you're asking about.

Stop retyping the channel list.

Build the plot, export the file, verify it in the desk's own editor.

Always open an exported console file in the official editor, or verify it on the target desk, before show use.
