Turn an input list into a Yamaha CL/QL, DM7, DM5, or TF show file

Type, import, or photograph your channel list once, then export the native show file for your specific Yamaha console — CL, QL, DM3, DM5, DM7, TF, or Rivage PM — instead of recreating it by hand on the desk.

Steps

  1. Bring in the input list. Type it, paste a spreadsheet, or import a rider, photo, or existing console file.
  2. Pick your exact Yamaha model. load·in's Yamaha workflow covers CL, QL, DM3, DM5, DM7, TF, and Rivage PM — each model's write range is stated on its console page.
  3. Export the native show file. load·in writes the model-specific file format for the console you selected.
  4. Load it in the desk's own editor or on the console. Confirm the load before the show — the official editor or the physical desk is the final check.

Coverage differs by exact model and firmware — check the field list on the matching /consoles/ page for your desk before relying on it.

Picking the exact model up front — not just “Yamaha” — is what keeps the exported file inside the write range that model actually supports.

FAQ

Is DM5 and DM7 covered the same way as CL/QL?

They sit in the same Yamaha family workflow, but each model has its own field-level write range — see /consoles/yamaha-dm7/ and /consoles/yamaha-dm3/ for specifics.

What about TF?

TF has its own console page and write range at /consoles/yamaha-tf/, inside the same CL/QL family engine.

Does this require Pro?

Native Yamaha export is part of the supported paid console workflows on Individual Pro ($59 one-time).
