Updated October 20, 2026 · load·in, built and shipped by one person
What changed in load·in, newest first, in plain words. Each entry says where it is: live on the web, in the App Store, or in testing.
What each desk can and cannot do is on the Desk limits page. Whatever the desk, open an exported file in the maker's editor or on the desk before show use.
Each further desk family is now $6.99 one time, yours to keep. Everything is $19.99 a month or $99 a year, with every desk family and Soundcheck while you are subscribed. Your first month buys your first desk. Your first desk is still $19.99 one time, with Soundcheck and Pro.
Add a desk: $6.99 for each further desk family, one time.
Everything, monthly or yearly: $19.99 a month or $99 a year; both give every desk family and Soundcheck.
Already own a desk: nothing changes for what you have bought.
Build 94 is the founder's first-look build: everything found in build 93 and by the iMac overnight, in TestFlight only. 1.6.0 with build 93 stays with App Review.
Typing "channel 1 kick", "CH1 kick" or "Kanal 1 Kick" into a channel's name, the add bar, the Add Channel button, the Properties field or the Show notepad labels the channel "kick", in all 26 languages.
WING: a stereo Source is written only on an aligned odd/even input pair; a pair on other inputs stays two mono channels and the export says so, so WING-Edit no longer pairs the wrong strips or blanks names.
The open Strip keeps editing the live channel while outputs are renamed, reordered or deleted.
RIVAGE PM3 patches 120 channels and PM7 144 on both the app and the server; the capacity note names the system the file declares.
The user guide and manual carry the current prices and the current screens.
Build 93 carries the October 16 web update, the new prices and the day's fixes to the iPhone and iPad app. It is in TestFlight with invited testers and has not been released.
Soundcheck and the fixes above run on the app's own audio engine.
Import shows load·in's own choice first (desk file, rider or multitrack), then Apple's picker.
In-app purchases: your first desk, Soundcheck and Pro included, $19.99 one time; each desk you add, $9.99 one time. None is on sale until Apple approves the release.
The export note counts only the inputs that arrive muted, one or many, in all 26 languages.
A double-tap on the stage is timed by the touches themselves, so a busy phone no longer reads it as two single taps.
A day of audits turned into fixes. They are on the web now and in the next iPhone and iPad build.
Soundcheck plays what you loaded. Solo survives a save. A set with one 44.1 kHz file among 48 kHz stems loads, and a failed load never spends your free soundcheck. Files Soundcheck left out, cut short or could not join are named on screen.
Soundcheck sounds right. Switching a compressor or gate in or out, and moving pan or trim, no longer clicks. The spectrum stops at 20 kHz and the meters never show what you cannot hear. The mixer's last page is reachable, and scrubbing seeks once, on release.
Yamaha TF. Choosing the TF family now exports its file, and the readiness panel says one true thing.
Rider photo. The import shows the rows it read, lets you fix a name or leave a row out, and only then makes channels.
The notepad reads every language. Typed instrument words are recognised in all 26 languages, not 11.
A way through every unlock screen. The licence screen always shows the desk unlock, the free one-time path where there is one, and a place to enter a key. A trial can buy. Your first export offers the free native file.
Header. The show's name and desk are the header; the Menu is gone, History sits beside them, and the tabs carry new icons and desk-name tiles.
Public pages read in ten languages, and the help pages no longer send every language to the English page.
Seven new app languages: Finnish, Hungarian, Romanian, Greek, Vietnamese, Malay and Hindi, 26 in all. New text is machine-translated and not yet checked by a native speaker.
Note: in 15 of the 26 languages a few details still read in English (instrument type names, the RF band notes); they are listed and being translated.
load·in now has two one-time prices: one for your first desk, which brings Soundcheck and Pro with it, and a lower one for each desk you add after that.
Your first desk. $19.99, one time, yours to keep: unlimited native files for one desk family you choose, plus Soundcheck and Pro (unlimited saved plots, clean PDF and PNG, DAW templates).
Add a desk. Each further desk family is $9.99, one time.
Already bought a desk or Pro? Your licence keeps every desk family it unlocks today, and each desk you add is $9.99.
Refund. If your desk won't load the file, we refund you. Support tells you how.
The File tab is rebuilt around bringing a show in and sending it out, Soundcheck can be used once for free, and Strip and List follow one rule for switching a block on.
File tab. It has three parts: In & Out, Shows and Settings.
One Import. It takes a desk file, a rider (PDF, photo or spreadsheet) or a multitrack recording (WAV files, a zip or a folder).
One Export. One sheet holds the desk file, the PDF pack, the input list and DAW templates.
One free soundcheck. Enter your email, load a multitrack and play it through your show once, free. Every desk unlock includes Soundcheck.
Listen to a mix. In Soundcheck, Listen switches from the main mix to any mix bus in your show.
A way through every unlock screen. Wherever the app asks you to unlock something, it also shows the free one-time option when there is one, and a place to enter a key.
Strip. A block (filter, EQ, gate or compressor) switches on when you change one of its values, and the switch in its header is the one on/off control. Scrolling over a control never changes it. On a phone a graph stays a picture until you tap it; tap Done to leave editing.
List. Tap a processing badge to open that block in the Strip. Press and hold to switch it on and open it.
New look. New text sizes, dividers, shadows and animation timings across the app. In dark, groups stand out more from the page behind them; light uses near-white groups on a warm grey page. Blackout keeps its black.
Languages. The File tab and free-soundcheck wording is in all 19 languages. In the other 18 it is machine-translated and has not yet been checked by a native speaker.
Build 91 carries the October 16 web update to the iPhone and iPad app. It is in TestFlight with invited testers and has not been released.
Soundcheck runs on the app's own audio engine, and Listen switches the monitoring to a mix bus.
The File tab, the single Import, the free soundcheck, the new Strip and List behaviour and the new look are as described for the web.
Desk unlocks will be in-app purchases at $9.99 each, one time. None is on sale until Apple approves the release.
Note: Soundcheck playback on a real iPhone is still being checked. Import shows Apple's file picker first, then load·in's own choice of desk file, rider or multitrack; we are changing that order.
Soundcheck arrives, and load·in moves from one Pro price to a price for each desk family.
Soundcheck. Load a multitrack recording and play it through your show. Files land on channels by order and by name, and no channel in your show moves. Ride faders, mute and solo. Only WAV files play for now. A recording split into several files, as some desks write it, plays as one timeline.
A preview, not your console. Soundcheck plays through load·in's own generic processing, driven by each channel's filter, EQ, gate and compressor settings.
Price per desk family. The app is free, with one free export on any desk. After that, each desk family unlocks for $9.99, one time, and stays yours to keep. A desk unlock is not a subscription. Add families whenever a gig needs them.
What an unlock includes. Every desk unlock includes Pro (unlimited saved plots, clean PDF and PNG, DAW templates) and Soundcheck. A licence key opens Soundcheck too, including a 30-day trial key while it lasts.
Bought Pro before? It keeps every desk and Soundcheck.
Refund. If your desk won't load the file, we refund you. Support tells you how.
Three new desks. Midas HD96, Soundcraft Si Expression and Soundcraft Vi1000. Their files were checked in each maker's offline editor; verify on your console before show use.
Desk list. It marks the desk families you own, and no desk carries a PRO label.
Languages. Norwegian (Bokmål), Danish, Czech and Ukrainian, then Thai and Indonesian that night: 19 in all.
The first web update of October 14 added a device limit, a share link that stays current, more gear on the stage plot and two languages.
Three devices per licence. A web licence works on up to 3 devices. Remove one to free its slot.
Share a show and keep it current. Sign in, save the show with sync on, and share it by link or QR code. Whoever opens it can add it to their own load·in as a new show. When you update the show, the same link shows what changed, and they can send notes back.
Stage gear on the plot. Stage boxes, digital and analog snakes and the monitor console now draw on the stage plot. A new Mixer element covers an on-stage submix that reaches the house as one stereo pair.
Two more Yamaha desks join the list, and the site gains how-to guides.
Yamaha DM5 and DM5 Compact. Their exports go through the DM7 engine. They have not yet been tested in Yamaha's DM Editor or on a console, so verify a copy before show use.
Guides. Eleven short how-to guides, from a rider PDF to an input list and from an input list to a desk file.
Typed and pasted lists read more of what engineers actually write.
Numbered lists. "1 kick in, 2 snare" and "1, lav 1, 2, lav 2" land on their channel numbers. Corporate words such as lav, handheld, podium and Q&A count like band words.
Linked pairs. Type "PB L" and "PB R" and the two link themselves, with a link icon between the strips. Tap the icon to unlink. On desks that pair odd and even channels, load·in never renumbers your patch to make a pair.
Faders show the level your file will export, or −∞ when the show holds none.
Feedback is one tap away inside the app.
One finish. Show, List, Strip, Stage and File share one glass finish, in light and dark.
Show, List, Strip, Stage and File read and write one record of the show, and the Yamaha TF joins the desk list.
Five tabs, one show. Add anything in one tab and it appears in all five.
Many ways in. Type a rider, scan one, or import a desk file: load·in builds the input list and the stage plot from the same record.
The Show tab draws your desk as it is on the day, with its real bank widths and the strip layout in your theme's colours.
Phone stage. The stage opens fitted to the screen. Pinch to zoom and drag with two fingers to pan.
Delete by swipe. Swipe a List row left to delete it.
Yamaha TF1, TF3, TF5 and TF-Rack. Their files were written by load·in and opened in TF Editor V4.5.0. No physical TF console has loaded one yet, so verify on your console before show use.
RF is a reference. The legal frequency bands for a region are listed on the File page and printed on the PDF. load·in does not check or coordinate a frequency, and no desk file carries one.
