1. Our Commitment
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We built go·for·show tools for touring professionals, and we stand behind our product. If stage·left Pro doesn't work for you, we'll refund your money.
2. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
All Pro license purchases come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied for any reason, we'll issue a full refund—no questions asked.
2.1 What's Covered
- stage·left Pro license purchases ($49 one-time payment)
- Any technical issues that prevent you from using the software
- Change of mind (you decided it's not for you)
- Any other reason—we don't need an explanation
2.2 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund within 30 days of purchase:
- Email legal@goforshow.io
- Include your email address used for purchase
- Include your license key (if you have it)
- Optional: Let us know what went wrong (helps us improve)
We'll process your refund within 5-7 business days.
2.3 What Happens After Refund
- Your license key will be deactivated
- You'll retain access to the free tier
- Your locally stored stage plots remain on your device (we can't delete them—they're on your device, not our servers)
- Exports will be watermarked going forward
- You'll be limited to 3 saved plots per the free tier
3. Refunds After 30 Days
After the 30-day guarantee period, refunds are granted at our discretion on a case-by-case basis.
3.1 Eligible Cases
We may issue refunds after 30 days for:
- Severe technical issues: If our software is fundamentally broken and we cannot fix it
- Service discontinuation: If we shut down the product entirely (see Terms of Service Section 12.2)
- Duplicate charges: If you were accidentally charged twice
- Billing errors: If there was a mistake in processing your payment
- Extenuating circumstances: Evaluated individually
3.2 Non-Eligible Cases
We generally do not issue refunds after 30 days for:
- Change of mind or "didn't use it"
- Forgot you purchased it
- Minor bugs or feature requests (we fix bugs regularly)
- Incompatibility with outdated browsers (we support modern browsers only)
- User error (we're happy to provide support instead)

4. Refund Processing
4.1 Processing Time
- Approval: We respond to refund requests within 1-2 business days
- Processing: Refunds are processed through Stripe within 5-7 business days
- Bank posting: Depending on your bank, it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account
4.2 Refund Method
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase. If your card has expired or been replaced, contact your bank—they can usually credit a replacement card.
4.3 Partial Refunds
We do not offer partial refunds. Our pricing is a one-time $49 payment with lifetime access. Refunds are all-or-nothing.
5. Promo Code / Free License Refunds
If you received a license through a promo code (e.g., beta tester, giveaway, partnership), no refund is available as no payment was made.
Promo licenses may be revoked at our discretion if they are misused or violated our terms of service.
6. Chargebacks and Disputes
6.1 Contact Us First
If you're considering filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank, please contact us first at legal@goforshow.io.
Chargebacks are expensive for small businesses and damage our relationship with payment processors. We're reasonable people—if you have an issue, we'll work with you to resolve it.
6.2 Chargeback Consequences
If you file a chargeback without contacting us first:
- Your license will be immediately revoked
- You will be banned from future purchases
- We may pursue legal remedies for fraudulent chargebacks
If you file a chargeback after we've already issued a refund, we will report it as fraud to Stripe and your bank.
7. Currency and Exchange Rates
All purchases are processed in USD through Stripe. If your bank charged you in a different currency, the refund will be issued in USD at the current exchange rate.
We are not responsible for currency conversion fees or fluctuations in exchange rates between purchase and refund.
8. Taxes and Fees
If you were charged sales tax, VAT, or other government-mandated fees, those will be refunded along with the purchase price.
We are not responsible for bank fees, international transaction fees, or other third-party charges imposed by your payment provider.
9. Service Credits
We do not currently offer service credits or exchanges. Refunds are issued as a return to your original payment method only.
In the future, if we introduce multiple paid products, we may offer credits toward other go·for·show tools.
10. Right to Modify
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page.
Your refund eligibility is determined by the policy in effect at the time of your purchase. If we make the policy less generous, you are still covered by the policy that existed when you bought.
11. Legal Disclaimer
This Refund Policy is part of our Terms of Service. By purchasing, you agree to both documents.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law. If you are located in the EU, UK, or other jurisdictions with stronger consumer protection laws, those rights apply in addition to this policy.

Can I get a refund if I just didn't use it?
Yes, within 30 days. After that, no—a lifetime license isn't rented, it's purchased.
What if I can't find my license key?
Email support@goforshow.io from the email you used to purchase. We'll look it up.
Can I get a refund because a feature is missing?
Within 30 days, yes. After 30 days, no—but let us know what you need. We update the software regularly and prioritize user feedback.
What if the software stops working after 30 days?
Contact support first. If it's a bug, we'll fix it. If it's a fundamental issue we can't resolve, we may grant a refund even after 30 days.
Can I get a refund if I accidentally bought twice?
Yes, absolutely. Email us immediately and we'll refund the duplicate charge.
What if my bank already refunded me?
If you filed a chargeback and won, we have no further action to take. However, your license will be revoked and you will be banned from future purchases.
