carnet
carnet keeps the paperwork of a tour: the shows, the crew and their passports, and the ATA carnet documents for the gear.
The tabs
- Command: the tour at a glance: now and next, tour health, alerts.
- Route: the legs of the tour, with shows, travel days and days off.
- Crew: the crew roster.
- Vehicles: the fleet.
- Carnet: the ATA carnet documents.
- More: budget, export, import, print and settings.
Start a tour
With no tour, Command shows three lines on how the app works, then:
- Create your first tour, to start empty.
- Start from a .show file, to read a show file.
- Use the show from your other apps, when load·in or green·room has saved a show in the last 30 days. It adds the show and its crew.
Add a show
On Route, tap Add Show. Fill in Date, Venue, City and Country, the times, and whether it is Confirmed, Pending or on Hold, then Save. A show reaches the other apps once it has both a venue and a date.
The gear list
On Carnet, tap New Carnet, enter the Carnet Name, Issue Date and Expiry Date, and add the countries. Tap Add Item for each piece: its item name, serial number, value, pieces, weight and origin. Equipment Manifest fills the list from back·line. ATA worksheet opens the list as a worksheet you can Export CSV or print.
Crew
On Crew, tap Add Member. Enter the name, role, email, phone, passport country and expiry, and an emergency contact. Add Visa records a visa for the member. Save.
Settle and day sheet
On Route, Settle works out the show's settlement from the deal type, guarantee or percentage, tickets and deductions, and Push to gain·stage sends it on. Day Sheet and Advance build a day sheet and an advance email from the show.
In the suite
carnet shares your shows and crew with the other apps. Your first-show step here is Next city: a second show in another city. The built-in sample tour does not count. See Your first show.
