Your first show with the suite

One show, from the rider to the next city. A card lists the ten steps in the order a crew lives a show. Each step belongs to one app, and it ticks by itself when you do the work there. You enter nothing extra.

Where the card is

Every app that carries the card shows the same list. The step for the app you are in is marked. The other steps link to their apps.

The card is never a pop-up. Tap its title to fold it, or the cross to dismiss it on this device. When all ten steps are done it folds to one line.

The ten steps

  1. Rider in (load·in). Read the rider or open a desk file. The channels land in the List. See Getting Started and Console Import.
  2. Show built (load·in). Give the show a venue and a date.
  3. Desk file out (load·in). Choose your desk and export its file. See Console Export.
  4. Times set (change·over). Add the acts and their times. See change·over.
  5. Day sheet saved (green·room). Save a show day with its venue and events. See green·room.
  6. Crew joined (green·room). Add the crew to the show.
  7. Cues built (show·call). Build the cue list. See show·call.
  8. Show called (show·call). Run the cues with GO.
  9. Settled (gain·stage). Invoice the show. The venue and date are already filled in. See gain·stage.
  10. Next city (carnet). Add the next show on the tour. See carnet.

back·line has no step of its own. It builds the pull sheet for the gear. See back·line.

How a step ticks

A step ticks from what the apps already save, so there is nothing to tap.

A tick stays. Deleting the show later does not untick it.

Tip

The steps work on one device because the apps share what they save on that device. A show saved in load·in reaches the other apps on the same phone or laptop with no reload.
