change·over

change·over keeps a multi-act night on time. You list the acts and their changeovers, and the timer counts down to the next one.

The tabs

First open

With no shows, the first screen asks What events do you run?. Choose a type, tap Get Started, then enter an event name, venue and date. Or tap Skip, I'll explore to open a sample show. The sample show says so in a banner and is never counted as your own.

Add acts

  1. Open Schedule. To start a show, tap New Show and fill in Show Name, Date and Venue, then Save. The form also lists shows from load·in, under From load·in.
  2. Tap Add Act.
  3. Choose Act or Break, then fill in Act Name, Start Time, Duration (min) and Changeover (min). Add Notes if you need them.
  4. Tap Save. Tap an act to edit it, move it up or down, or delete it.

Run the timer

On Timer, tap Start. Pause holds the clock and +5 min adds time. Skip moves to the next segment. Settings has an auto-start option, on by default. When it starts the timer for you, the app first shows Auto-starting in with a Cancel button.

Share the schedule

Tap the share icon on Schedule, then Copy Link or Share. The link carries the schedule itself, so whoever opens it sees the running order.

In the suite

Your times feed the rest of the show. green·room and gain·stage read the show you saved in load·in, and change·over adds its own show to the shared list. Your first-show step here is Times set: add one act with a start time. See Your first show.
