gain·stage
gain·stage is invoicing for gigs: clients, line items, payments, expenses and a crew split. When load·in has saved a show, one tap starts the invoice for it.
The tabs
- Gigs: the gigs you logged, with hours and pay.
- Invoices: this month, outstanding and overdue totals, your invoices, and the quick actions.
- Clients: your clients.
- Expenses: the month's costs.
- More: settings, reports, data and help.
Your details
On Invoices, tap Add details to enter your name, business name, email, phone, currency, address, payment terms and default tax. They print on every invoice. Not now skips it.
Invoice this show
When load·in has saved a show, the top of Invoices offers Invoice this show with the show's name, date and venue. Tap it. gain·stage makes a draft with one line per crew role, a quantity of 1 and the rate left at 0, then opens the form. You set the rates. Tap it again later and it opens the same invoice.
A new invoice
- On Invoices, tap New Invoice.
- Enter the Client Name. Open Gig Details (Optional) for the Event Name, Venue, Event Date, Set Time and Load-in.
- Add lines: a Description, a Qty and a Rate, then Add Line Item for more.
- Set the Invoice Date, Due Date, Tax Rate (%) and Currency. Choose Full Payment or Deposit + Balance.
- Tap Save Draft or Save & Send. An invoice needs a client name and one described line.
Get paid
Open the invoice and tap Mark Sent. Then Mark Paid, or Mark Deposit Paid and Mark Balance Paid for a deposit invoice.
Crew split
On a paid invoice, tap Crew Split and Add Crew Member. Split the amount equally, by percentage or by a fixed amount, then save. The invoice shows a Settlement Statement.
Exports
On an invoice, Export PDF opens the browser's print dialog, and Email Invoice needs the client's email. Under More, Export for Accounting writes a CSV of paid invoices.
In the suite
The show comes from load·in: its name, date, venue and crew roles. gain·stage adds no rates of its own. Your first-show step here is Settled: create one invoice. See Your first show.
